It’s your people who give you a competitive advantage. Make sure  they’re the best they can be.

When the working day revolves around fee-earning, there’s little time left for the bigger picture. You have enough on your plate.

Learning and development consultancy gives you peace of mind. The performance gaps are filled, your managers are the best they can be, and your loyal employees wouldn’t dream of leaving.

In 25 years, I’ve advised some of the world’s largest organisations — and your goals are as unique as theirs.

You know the business better than anybody, and I use that insight to create a bespoke, cohesive L&D strategy.

I listen to every stakeholder, viewing the problem from different angles to get to the heart of it. Then I work with you to find the most straightforward solution.

It could be a clear learning strategy, a leadership development program or a competency framework to measure success. The aim is to develop a skilled, motivated and happy workforce.

Which issues can learning & development consultancy help solve?

Over the last 25 years, I’ve been asked to help with a whole variety of learning and development issues. These are amongst the most common:

  • Your teams could perform more efficiently. Which learning activities will help?

  • The business is changing and you need new skill sets.

  • You want a clear, repeatable and fair method for performance management.

  • Your leaders need training to acquire management skills.

  • Too many of your best employees are thinking of leaving.

  • You need an additional layer of management. Who should you hire?

  • Your leadership team could be more cohesive.

Your workforce is an essential part of your business strategy — the glue which holds the business together.

Learning and development consultancy is about finding, empowering and safeguarding your most valuable asset. With a clear internal career pathway, the right skills and the right mindset, they’ll remain motivated and loyal.

I have worked with Helen on a number of training projects in recent years. She is adept at listening to what the client is looking for and builds trusted strong relationships. Her understanding of the bigger picture and cutting-edge learning methodologies mean that solutions are engaging, practical and lead to real change in the organisation.

How L&D consultancy works

The whole process is collaborative, and it starts with the end in mind.

What do you want to achieve? We talk about your current goals, and also the higher-level business objectives which take you into the future.

By listening to every stakeholder, including the people on the ground, I get a clear 360° view of each skills gap, bottleneck or barrier.

Using your business insight, I’ll create a practical L&D strategy which clears every obstacle — from designing the learning through to embedding newly acquired skills and behaviours.

Once the strategy is in place, I can either deliver training myself or support your own implementation. Here’s an overview of what I do:

  • Analysis of current and future learning needs

  • Leadership coaching and programs for wider talent management

  • Design and facilitation of senior-level meetings and awaydays

  • Keynote speaking on talent management and leadership

  • Fostering a learning or coaching culture

I’m always happy to talk through how I can help. Call me on 07778 482 400 or hit the big button below to send a message.
