Executive coach and L&D consultant, with 25 years’ experience in corporate leadership.

Hi, my name is Helen Tuddenham. I’m an accredited executive coach and L&D consultant with a 25-year career in professional services. I mainly work with leaders in law, accounting and professional services.

I understand the challenges of senior leadership because I’ve been there myself. I spent 25 years at PwC where I delivered both career coaching and learning and development consulting and I led projects for the organisation, both nationally and globally, and advised their clients on a range of culture, capability and change issues.

I also undertook transition coaching for people moving from manager to senior manager, and I sat on promotion panels — so I understand what organisations are looking for when it comes to leadership.

Why I started Helen Tuddenham Consulting (in a global pandemic)

I started my coaching and consulting business at the beginning of 2020… Great timing!

Why did I start this business? Ironically, promotion within PwC meant less of what I love, which is helping people grow — the `aha’ moments, seeing the transformation from uncertainty to confidence. This transformation is partly down to deeper self-knowledge and understanding your innate talents and strengths. That involves challenging deeply held beliefs about yourself, so it does take work.

If you’re not sure what kind of coaching you need, I’m happy to have a chat about what might suit you. Feel free to call me on 07778 482 400. If you’d prefer to send a message, just hit the big button below.

My coaching approach

My coaching approach is warm, responsive and flexible. The process isn’t set in stone.

I help you set an overall objective, respond to what matters to you, and I keep you on track towards the goal. You move forward through a series of small, achievable steps.

I coach in packages of either 3 or 6 sessions but if you prefer, you can pay as you go. There’s usually a month between sessions to allow time to practise new behaviours — although those gaps can be longer or shorter if it suits you.

You’ll find me to be honest and straightforward, calm and open. When I challenge negative thinking, I’ll do so from a place of empathy and patience. I’ve been there myself, so I understand.

Actually, rather than trying to describe myself, it’s probably easier if I show you a video. Here, this is me:

Qualifications

I qualified in 2019 through the Academy of Executive Coaching, and I hold the ACC (Associated Certified Coach) accreditation with the International Coaching Federation.

I’m also accredited to use psychometric tools such as MBTI (Myers Briggs) and SDI (Strength Deployment Inventory).
